Established in 2004, Modius has a long history and customer deployments across the Americas and Asia. Modius’ flagship offering, OpenData, is a software application actively integrating power, networking, and environmental intelligence with other management applications. After decades in the market, the UI/UX was due for an upgrade.

Project

This was a rapid three-month project aimed at enhancing the B2B user interface and design language. My team and I were successful in implementing substantial improvements in experience, design, and best practice elements. The Modius software suite, while powerful, required a universal update for usability, material design and brand alignment. My team and I delved into the Medius online brand system and the digital product’s Design Language. We collaborated with the internal development team to implement these languages across all templates and secondary views.

Results

The Medius suite of network management tools retains its powerful capabilities, but now boasts enhanced user-friendliness and brand alignment as well.
