Client
With a legacy spanning over 20 years, Cisco has been the industry leader in networking hardware and IT software management tools. While their technology and hardware evolved, the software UI/UX remained stuck in traditional thinking, hindering usability. Enterprise software, historically function-centric, suffered from non-user-friendly complexities and over-engineered processes.
Project
Cisco DNA represents a departure from traditional management software. It integrates the power of IT connectivity and remote access with a complete overhaul in user-centric interface design. In my role as a product design strategist, I spearheaded the shift from traditional enterprise software to a more powerful and user-centric software management tool, drawing on industry best practices and design principles.
Results
By melding a comprehensive understanding of functionality from numerous engineering groups (4,000+ engineers) with a deep dive into best-practice, user-centric UX, Cisco DNA emerged as a powerful and intuitive product in the market. Its success is evident in its continued growth and international expansion.
